Ideal for loading Flat-Base Bullets and shooting in Semi-Automatic rifles

.308 Winchester Fully Processed Brass Cartridges for Reloading: 308SARB F

Guaranteed once-fired 100% 7.62 x 51 NATO military brass; we buy directly from the military through auctions.

See the “Our Process” page for a complete description of our processing. Here’s what we do:

  • tumble clean in precision ceramic media, then hand sort by manufacturer and year
  • de-prime and full-length size; we use a .302″ diameter expander ball so the neck is expanded to .302″ inside diameter to give .006″ tension on the bullet
  • swage the primer pocket so it will accept a new primer
  • trim the case to a uniform overall length; 2.005” +/- .003 (98% are within .002″)
  • put a very slight flair in the case mouth to make it easier to load flat-based bullets
  • tumble them in stainless steel pins to clean out the primer pocket and the flash hole, as well as the inside of the case
  • weigh and package in bags of 100 and 250

For you single stage reloaders, you can skip lubing and sizing. All cases are full-length sized and ready to load. We check them on a regular basis using a Dillon case gauge.

For those of you who use a multi-stage press, you can skip lubing and sizing too. Plus, the primers go in smoothly, and are nice and snug.

308SARB F was developed for loading flat-base bullets and shooting in magazine-fed rifles. The slightly flared case mouth makes it easier to seat all bullets, especially flat-base bullets.

The neck tension on our 308SARB F is .006” (the inside diameter of the case neck is .302” which puts a .006″ squeeze on the bullet). The increased neck tension will hold the bullet in place when the magazine gets knocked around or when you extract an unfired cartridge from the chamber. A good crimp is recommended when using any brass in a semi-automatic rifle.

Yes, 308SARB F will work just fine in bolt-action rifles, although many long range shooters prefer a lighter neck tension for better accuracy.

Sold in bags of 100 and 250 by weight.
